The removal, handling and disposal of any asbestos material is to be undertaken only by an asbestos removal contractor who holds an appropriate Asbestos Removal Licence., issued by WorkCover Vic and in accordance with the requirements of WorkCover Vic, the National Occupational Health and Safety Commission’s Code of Practice for the Safe Removal of Asbestos [NOHSC:2002]
and Guide to the control of Asbestos Hazards in Buildings and Structures [NOHSC:3002 (1988)].
